I just finished installation. 1. How do I adjust: treble/bass ; right/left balance; front/back fade. 2. Is there an app for control or is the only control the faceplate and remote.

For the PLMRMBT5 / PLMRMBT5A-style marine amp units, here’s how it actually works:

1) Bass / Treble / Balance / Fade adjustment

This unit does NOT have a full digital menu EQ like a car stereo head unit.

Instead:

• Bass/Treble → controlled by your source device (phone, head unit, etc.)
• The amplifier itself only has GAIN + input mode + polarity switch
• It does not provide true left/right balance or front/rear fade control

So if you’re looking for:

• Treble adjustment → not on the amp
• Bass adjustment → not on the amp
• Balance / fade → not on the amp

Those must be done on whatever is feeding audio into it (radio, phone, mixer, etc.)

2) App control?

No — there is:

• ❌ No app
• ❌ No Bluetooth control app
• ❌ No EQ app integration
• ❌ No WiFi control

Control is only:

• Front/source device (EQ, volume, balance, fade)
• Amp hardware (gain + switches on the unit)

3) What is adjustable on the amp itself

On the actual unit you only get:

• Gain (overall volume level)
• Input level switch (line vs speaker level)
• Polarity switch (bass phase tuning)
